Course description:
An artwork’s content lies in the dialogues surrounding it and how viewers make sense of it.

With ‘conversation’ as its theme, this course with lectures and exchanges is hosted by Funen Art Academy in Denmark and conceptualised by visual artist Stine-Marie Jacobsen.

The course will be about exercising active listening methods, story reenactments, non-human communication, language-based approaches, reality and fiction in media narratives and the creation of rumours and myths.

During a 5 day course, you’ll train constructions of dialogues that will help you strengthen your language about and around your artwork as well as getting closer to understanding what non-verbal and intuitive impulses that surround your creative process and artwork.
